We’ve had some damage to our picket fence and need someone qualified to repair it . We have our own painter so needs three posts replaced and likely four rails as a guide. Noting the pickets may be reused if handled correctly , sourcing the identical shape is essential. Must use minimum H4 Timbers for garden and wet areas Must punch and fill to a smooth finish all fixings noting the palings are attached with plastic coated screws to avoid future rust marking - photos available. Must utilise the same connection format to ensure future temporary panel removal - photos available Must advise proposed concrete footing size Must cut top section of posts with a slope same as other to prevent water ingress Must remove from site old materials We will require a formal written quote and on-site meeting to proceed with an offer. Steel gate is becoming difficult to close again, catching on the fixed gate pillar. Last time the existing ball bearing hinges were ground off and replaced with G4 weld on screw on hinges, to control the gap. Then new hinges powder coated to colour match. Requesting similar repair.
