My picket fence is leaning to one side because two posts are coming off the ground, possibly because the bottom of the post has rotted (no termites though). Need this fixed. - Due date: Flexible

I have a white picket fence at the front of my house. Unfortunately there’s two issues with it: 1. Three of the posts have rotted out at the ground surface (including the two on either side of the gate); and 2. I think the gate we have is made of hardwood and is very heavy, which has caused the post bearing the weight to split. Subject to your thoughts, the rest of the fence is still in good nick (though needs a paint!). Looking for someone to 1. Replace the posts, which could either be new posts or stirrups or similar; and 2. Options for a lighter gate (eg pine or something) to avoid this happening in the future. Can increase budget to cover materials/ requirements!

The pool gate does not close securely from a very small distance away however as the pool fencing is old (as is the gate) I am unsure if the hinge may need replacing to close correctly......

The metal tube style pool gate has an internal spring (inside a post) that probably needs to be replaced. I need someone who understands how to take the gate off and am willing to pay for time if it requires going to get the relevant part. Once replaced, it might need adjustment to make sure the latch closes properly. I want to repair the gate, not bolt on all new equipment. - Due date: Flexible
