As advised by the NBN technician, there are two possible options to achieve this: Option 1: Extend the existing external cable from the upstairs room to the other room where the Ethernet point is required, and drill through the external and internal wall downstairs to connect it to the router downstairs. See image of existing cable that nbn tech found outside which is already wired to upstairs but will need to be drilled through the wall to connect to router and proper Ethernet head installed on cable. Option 2: Supply and install a completely new Ethernet cable from downstairs to upstairs, routed in the most suitable and cheapest way. This is required because the VPN I use does not work reliably with mesh systems, so I need a direct Ethernet connection from the main router downstairs to the upstairs office.

My shower tap is leaking and I think it is because of a worn out washer (the taps haven't been changed in a long time). They are currently cross handle taps. I have attempted to remove on my own however, there is cement that is obstructing the removal of the tapware. I wish to change the tapware to quarter turn taps and understand that a spindle extension may be required. Happy to buy my own tapware as well.
