I need a sparky to fit an additional electrical meter to my property. I have contacted Energex & submitted an enquiry to have another NMI which they are indicating is possible. Their email has said ‘Please contact an electrician who holds a current Queensland electrical license, about adding an additional meter’. So basically they want a licenced electrician to fit off & fill out the application for the new meter. There is space within the current electrical enclosure for the meter. The property has already been wired for the additional meter internally, it's currently hooked up to the orignal meter, it just requires disconnecting this wire from the current meter & hooking up to the new installed meter. If you feel the cable should be up graded from the meter to the pole, I am open to this conversation. The task would be finished once the new Energex meter is installed & the new National Metering Identifier is registered.
