He's a very young puppy still settling into routine, and isn’t fully vaccinated yet. He's on a 45-minutes-awake, 2-hours-asleep cycle and needs 18–20 hours of sleep a day, so most of the time he'll simply be crate napping. He's happy and settled in his crate, so once he's down you're free to head out and do your own thing — you don't need to sit and watch him sleep. He is an absolute love bug and thrives on affection, but he's also quite anxious, especially with unfamiliar people, new environments, or being left alone for long stretches. He does best with someone calm, gentle, and willing to give him lots of reassurance and one on one attention. Because of his age, he has some health quirks that come with being a senior dog. He may have accidents in the house (both number one and number two), and he can occasionally vomit, particularly if he's stressed or has eaten something that doesn't agree with him. This isn't unusual for him and isn't cause for alarm, but I need someone who is comfortable cleaning up after him without fuss and who won't get upset or punish him for it. Patience and a good sense of humour go a long way here. He's on a regular routine that helps keep his anxiety in check, so consistency really matters. I'll provide a full rundown of his feeding schedule, any medications or supplements he takes, his favourite spots to nap, and the little things that help him settle when he's feeling unsettled.
