Looking for an experienced artist to create a large, original painting for a formal dining room. The concept is a sophisticated Punjabi Bhangra and Gidda scene, featuring both men and women dancing, ideally with a central dhol player. I’m looking for approximately 7–9 figures in traditional Punjabi clothing, including turbans, kurta/chaadra, salwar kameez and flowing dupattas. I’d like the figures predominantly in a silhouette style, set against a warm, atmospheric Punjab landscape. The background could include golden fields, trees and subtle Punjabi architecture or a distant gurdwara. The colour palette should be warm and earthy—gold, amber, ochre, burnt umber, deep brown and charcoal—with a slightly textured, aged oil-painting appearance. I want to avoid bright or overly colourful/cartoon-like styling. Approximate size: 160–180cm wide x 100–120cm high, although I’m happy to take advice from the artist. The painting will hang in a formal room with Italian timber furniture, marble floors and dark burgundy Chesterfield lounges, so the overall look needs to be elegant, timeless and sophisticated while celebrating Punjabi culture. Oil or acrylic on canvas is preferred. Please send examples of previous work, particularly large paintings or figurative/cultural artwork. I’d also like to agree on a concept/sketch before the final painting begins.

I'm looking for someone experienced in architecture/interior design practice to run 2–3 short working sessions, working directly on my own files, covering: Setting up an A3 sheet file template with a titleblock A refresher on setting up sheet files correctly Batch plotting to PDF for consistency and efficiency Setting up studio-standard text styles and lineweights for consistent, accurate printing Revisiting correct drawing scales across working files and sheet files I use AutoCAD LT (2027) on a Mac laptop, producing 2D drawings — plans, elevations, sections. Ideally you'd have solid experience with real studio drafting workflows and standards (not just general AutoCAD teaching) — architecture or interior design background preferred.
