Looking for a reliable and capable home chef/cook to come to our Adelaide home approximately once a week to prepare meals for the family. We want someone who can take ownership of the kitchen during the session: prep, cook, portion, organise and completely clean up afterwards. Typical tasks: Suggest and plan meals based on our preferences Wash, chop, portion and marinate ingredients Cook 4–6 meals/dishes for the week Portion and pack meals for the fridge/freezer Cook a nice fresh dinner for that evening BBQ/grill meats and other foods when required Prepare marinades, sauces, sides etc. Check and organise the pantry Clean and organise the fridge, disposing of old/expired food Prepare a shopping list for anything running low Label/date prepared meals Full kitchen clean-up after cooking, including benches, cooktop, splashbacks and preparation areas Wash, dry and put away all dishes, cookware and utensils Load/unload dishwasher as required Take out rubbish/recycling and replace bin liners Leave the entire kitchen clean, tidy and organised We will generally supply groceries. We're not looking for fine dining every week. We want delicious, good-quality home cooking with variety, including quality meats, BBQ, pasta, Asian dishes, curries, roasts, salads, vegetables, rice dishes and family favourites. Ideally you'll have professional cooking or substantial home/private-chef experience, be very clean, organised and efficient, and be comfortable taking initiative. We're initially looking for a paid trial of approximately 4 hours, with the intention of making this a regular weekly arrangement for the right person. Please tell us about your cooking experience, cuisines you enjoy preparing and, if possible, include photos of meals you've made. Offer: $200 for approximately 4 hours. Groceries supplied.

Prepping 5 nights of dinners plus purees and healthy snacks for the kids, a cake or other treat in the pantry for the adults. You provide the recipes and I'll provide the ingredients. Cooked at our house using all our kitchen equipment, preferably on Mondays on a weekly basis. Price flexible based on experience
