Find a local network troubleshooter in Geelong

Hi all - Seeking advice, and support to set up in a home environment, the network of devices that my child uses and management of them at the network level. Unfortunately, he recently become fixated on streaming, YouTube / twitch - lead to a v unhealthy life balance. Taking the devices away / turning internet off, is not possible at this stage. Happy to explain why in conversation. I want to encourage constructive gaming using a desktop set up, So, looking for advice on a desktop setup and with the aim of limiting use of iPad and school computer. Currently He has - Iphone (w own data intended only for calls /texts ), iPad (used for gaming via apps- connected to hm internet) school computer ( windows intended only for school but used for streaming, connected to hm internet). Wanting advice and help w network level management of: Time limits / schedules (when device or internet can be used) Content filtering (blocking certain websites or apps) Monitoring / reports of usage Remote control / ability to change settings from parent device Currently using Telstra gateway but not effective. Own a Nighthawk but not being used. Advice on alternative modems routers parenting apps, that will be effective for my need. My office wi fi isn’t working. It’s an extension of my home modem, but the router doesn’t work well enough - Due date: Before Thursday, 18 January 2024

We are having issues with our home wifi and network. We run many devices and have range extenders to the home office. We seem to be having issues between 2.4g and 5g. We just need someone who understands this stuff and get it all running uniformly - Due date: Flexible

Looking to reconnect Unifi internet extenders and fix internet issues - Due date: Flexible

Looking to set up computer network to improve internet speeds and connectivity issues. Major issue is getting WiFi out to garage approx 10m from modem. Secondary issue is utilizing existing cat 5 cable from modem to lounge for tv and gaming console I have some existing equipment that may or may not be useful depending on what you suggest. - Due date: Flexible

Moved into a new house. Using new ISP, but have BYO modem and Google Nest Wifi. Need someone to manually set up the modem (D-Link DSL-3890), configure it to new internet provider and hook up to Google Nest wifi. - Due date: Needs to be done on Thursday, 21st Oct 2021
