Find a local Tasker to help with your Mac OS in Brisbane

Hi guys, 5 year old imac filled of crap, tried several tools (onyx etc). Should still be fast, have 1TB SSD (samsung 840 EVO installed). Just want to start from fresh. If you could just create a new username Luke and start download of microsoft office, onedrive and get it all downloading in the background you are free to go straight after that... I know it won't upgrade to ventura, but hoping this will be the last re-install and hope to get another 18 months out of it. Luke - Due date: Flexible

Hi IT Airtaskers, Made the mistake of “upgrading” to Mac OS Catalina on MacBook Pro mid 2014. Desperately needing to downgrade back to High Sierra to ensure my accounting program and dragon dictate still works. I’m very time poor and would like this done in person. First hour via airtasker than $50 per hour to bring a USB with High Sierra and do a clean install and get through to login in screen - download and Install Microsoft edge - download and install office 365 suite - download and install VLC but that is about it. I try to keep my system relatively “clean”. Up to negotiation but I also have other computers that are really beginning to glitch and I can’t be bothered doing a clean install myself. My 2011 27 inch iMac which I would like High Sierra reinstalled. Old Surface book i7 - clean install of windows 11 pre-released installed and glitches. I anticipate 3 computers formatted and installed 2-3hours. Must bring bootable high sierra usb and bootable clean install of windows 11 (have previous licences no cracked / illegal software). I will have everything backed up before you format. Cheers in advanced for getting this done for me next week. Sorry but i have installed and uninstalled to many programs (along with my kids) and would just like a clean slate. Ideally IT background although any tech savvy person could do. First hour through air tasker. The rest $50 per hour but hope you can work simultaneously.

My old hard disk hasn't been accessed in a while. When I fired it up again recently, it was mounting ok. The folders, were viewable and readable, the odd file could even be opened, however the drive seems to be functioning incredibly slowly and seems to have some problems. I have loaded disk managing software, which found bad sectors but I'm not savvy enough to repair the drive. Recovery of the files from the software I used was functioning so slow that it wasn't feasible. The disk only contains my old CD collections, random files and keepsake files but I would like to have the drive repaired if possible. It's a 750GB drive and hasn't had much use or access, other than a backup device, so I don't think it's physically compromised.

Hi there, Recently been given a Mac and it can’t go past the install stage, it says ‘temporarily unavailable’. Apple seem to think that it could be rebooted with a bootable USB installer, however I don’t have access to another Mac to do it. Any help appreciated.
