I am looking to get a small section of our wood floor repaired and refinished. The area under a desk chair has noticeable wear. The finish has worn off and there are some light surface marks but the rest of the floor is in good condition. Ideally we’d like to explore a localised sand and recoat (or a buff and blend) rather than a full room refinish, provided the finish cans be matched well.

I'm looking to hire a woodworker to sand and refinish some solid timber shelves. The shelves have some water stains from a leak in my office and the existing finish is sunbleached in some areas. The shelves are solid Tasmanian Oak and were previously finished with Organoil Danish Oil. The shelves have been removed from the metal framing in the photo and all hardware has been removed. Below are dimensions of each shelf to be refinished: 9 smaller shelves (78cm x 28cm) 3 larger shelves (78cm x 38cm) It would be great if you could pick up and deliver to my office in Surry Hills, NSW - however, I can drop them off to you if necessary. This is not an urgent project - the timing is flexible. I'm hoping to have it completed in the next few weeks.

Hi, I have two side tables made by my grandfather in the 40's that I would like sanded back, repaired where needed (one crack in the wood of the oval table) and stained black. There is another item, a blanket box that also needs sanding back, repair to the base and also stained black. The stain colour may change but likely black unless you have another suggestion. There is no real time limit and we would be happy for them to be done all at once or as it may fit with your schedule.
