I have recently installed a new floating floor. There are two rooms either side of the new floor that have carpet in them. The carpet needs to be refinished up to the floating floor in the doorways using new smooth edge, there is no need for any metal trim as the floating floor has a trim already. We have a great quality recycled spotted gum six seater table that needs refinishing after 30 years of use. A combination of orbital and hand sanding ( Most likley 4 times at 80, 160 and 240 grit and then after first oil) required as the top is slightly undulating. Legs are flat sided and will only need a light sand. We estimate an all day job that as we want to retain character and reset for another 30 years. Airtasker to complete all sanding, cleaning of dust and first coat of oil. We wll apply final coats to save waiting You will need to bring correct sander and assortment of sand paper. We have a large rear undercover deck to work on with power and lighting.
