we’re installing an IKEA laundry and need a carpenter or cabinetmaker to build the base and top framing for the cabinetry. The laundry’s currently empty standard double-brick home (7–8 years old). We need a frame for the cabinets to sit on, and a timber frame above to fix the overhead cupboards and create a built-in bulkhead so the plaster can go right up to the ceiling. We’ll be doing painting and tiling afterwards — just need the frame built square and ready to take cabinetry

I need a small horizontal timber/MDF filler beam installed above my window frame so I can mount a roller blind. The right side of the window recess is angled due to a roof beam, which leaves no flat surface for blind brackets. The job involves cutting and installing a horizontal filler piece across the top of the window to create a straight, level surface. Filler should be painted or primed (to match white frame if possible). Needs to be secure enough to hold a roller blind. Approx 900mm. As shown on the left photo
