Carpenter Required – Timber Frame Construction for Reception Desk (Not Full Fit-Out) Looking for a carpenter or handyman with carpentry experience to construct a basic timber frame structure for a custom reception desk at our studio in Coburg North. We have a design reference showing the finished desk, but we only require the structural frame, internal open shelving and castor wheels to be built. Approximate overall dimensions: * Length: 2000 mm * Depth: 500 mm * Height: 1000 mm (including wheels and benchtop) What we need built: * A strong, sturdy rectangular timber frame. * Internal timber supports and bracing. * Open shelving on the left and right sides. * An open space in the centre (approximately 800 mm wide) for an office chair and legroom. * No timber base across the bottom of the centre opening, as the chair needs to slide underneath. * Approximately 6 heavy-duty lockable castor wheels, positioned to support the structure without obstructing the chair. * Cut and fit a benchtop, which we can supply. What is NOT required: * No decorative timber acoustic panels. * No installation of acoustic panels. * No doors or drawers. * No painting, staining or decorative finishing. * No complete reception desk fit-out. Important: The finished desk will eventually be covered with timber wave acoustic panels on the front and sides. We have someone else completing this work. We simply need the underlying timber structure constructed, with suitable surfaces for our team to attach the panels later. The attached images show the intended design and frame construction. The finished desk image is for reference only. Materials: Please quote for labour and basic construction materials, including timber, shelving and castor wheels. Need a front panel made for a Miele semi integrated dishwasher. Panel needs to be approx 700mm x 600mm and finished in laminex “black birchply”colour in “chalk” finish. Needs a separate visit to first confirm exact size and then return to fit panel.

Cabinet Maker Needed to Adjust Kitchen Cabinetry for Stone Benchtop Realignment Looking for an experienced cabinet maker to inspect and adjust existing kitchen cabinetry to allow a stone benchtop to be moved back into its correct position. A stone mason has advised that the cabinetry underneath requires adjustment before the stone can be repositioned. There is currently movement/misalignment in the cabinetry which appears to have contributed to the benchtop shifting and cracking at a join. Scope of Works: Inspect existing kitchen cabinetry and supports. Move and re-level cabinetry as required. Reinforce or adjust cabinet structure to support the stone correctly. Ensure cabinets are level and suitable for the stone mason to reinstall/reposition the benchtop. Advise if any additional cabinet repairs are required.

Cut out a space for a dishwasher under bench in an existing kitchen cabinet. Still need to maintain the appearance of the kitchen. I want to be able to have the remaining cupboard space under the sink as well so a small door or a blank can be installed between the edge of the dishwasher and the next door. Pillar will need to be moved across. I have some photos with the measurements. Dishwasher is 820mm high, 600mm wide and 570 deep. Parking is off street (I have a driveway)
