What does a car service include?
As a general rule, your car will likely need to be serviced every 6-12 months, depending on the manufacturer’s recommendations. The exact inclusions of your car service and mobile car service will vary depending on how much work is needed on your car. Oil and oil filter change
An oil and oil filter change will help your car run smoothly and increase fuel efficiency. It’s one of the most important parts of a service and should be included in both minor and major services. Your mechanic will find the oil drain plug, loosen and unscrew it, and carefully allow the old oil to drain into a pan. Then they’ll replace and tighten the plug before removing and replacing the filter. Finally, they’ll fill up with fresh oil up to the “full” mark on the dipstick.
Minor car service
A minor service is also known as an interim or basic service. It focuses on changing and topping up fluids and inspecting several components for wear and tear. A minor service includes an oil and filter change; an under-body and under-bonnet inspection; a top-up of all key fluids in the engine, including washer fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze, and steering fluid; and a check of up to 35 key components, such as lights, tyres, and brakes. Most mechanics will also check the manufacturer guidelines and recommend any additional work your car may need.
Major car service
A major service includes all the basic services described above, but will also include an inspection of an additional 15-30 car components to ensure that your vehicle is in the best condition possible. These components can include wheel bearings, shock absorbers, and the air conditioning system. Any parts that need extra work or replacement, such as car batteries or windscreens, will be billed as extra. If you don't have time to bring your vehicle to a mechanic, hire a mobile mechanic to come to your location instead for a major car service.

Requiring assistance from a carpenter or handyman who can build and assist to fix things in my van for conversion. I need help building a frame base & potential cupboards for kitchen portion. I have some already cabinets put together and a slid out unit as pictured and would like cabinet on top, but may need cutting to fix and then fitted. Install of benchtop, sink & taps. (Jerry can plumbing ). Build a wall mounted cabinet to fit 32inch tv similar to a murray cabinet. I have most items except plywood. Timber box to be built to store portable toilet and used as seat. Build a roof timber deck platform on roof racks. Screwed into roof racks. Have everything except timber. And if you are really talented, assist me to install nudge bar at front of car and new wipers. Will pay on an hourly rate. Bunnings is down the road & will reimburse upon receipt of materials. (Timber, screws etc) Picking up van next week as bed, flooring, walls & solar being installed. May need to raise bed up with frame if too low. This will be decided afterwards. Only experienced tradies to respond. Required to be completed before end of February. Photos attached are what i am trying to achieve.

I need a dashcam installed this evening / tonight (15/12). The car is a Mazda CX8, dashcam is a Uniden Dashcam. It has front and rear dashcams. I want it to be installed where the wires are discreet. Also, I would like the dashcam to work even when the car is parked and ignition off. I believe the electrical component needs to be installed differently.
