My Hyundai i30 engine has started to make noises, and my mechanic has advised I need a new engine, which will cost upwards of $5000 (supplied and installed). This is something I cannot currently afford. Therefore I am putting this task out to look for a seasoned mechanic willing to rebuild my current engine. The switch seems to engage but the glass won’t rise. What we need (either of the two): 1) Full repair – diagnose and fix so the window works as normal. 2) Close and leave shut – raise the glass and secure it permanently so the car can be used without that window (probably preferred option).
