Diagnose EPC warning light issue

Currently located at Macedon but moving down south soon. Had a mechanic diagnose the IAC valve as the issue when the van wasn’t starting. He removed the part so the van was able be run. Both headlights in my Mazda 3, 2007 have blown. I’ve tried myself to replace them with the new globes I bought but am having trouble with the metal clip that holds the bulb in place. The bulbs are provided I just need someone to replace them for me. People experienced with this model of car please.
