I have a banger 2011 holden antara/ captiva and the thermostat is stuck open The temp reads 53 always and the engine temp wont show anything at all. When I turn it off the fan stays on for a further few minutes. Its beaten up so not worth spending $$ a tonne on it- wanting quotes on what it would cost to fix please. The guard is heavily dented/creased with paint damage and the side indicator is damaged. I’m after the most cost-effective option, whether that’s repairing the existing guard or fitting a second-hand/aftermarket replacement. No insurance claim – paying privately.
