I need an experienced auto electrician, automotive technician or skilled plastic-repair specialist to repair and securely refit the interior rear-view mirror in my 2016 Holden Captiva. The mirror glass and auto-dimming electronics are working. The windscreen mounting base is also still attached. The circular plastic locking socket/bracket connecting the mirror to the windscreen base has broken. I would prefer to repair or replace only the damaged mounting bracket/socket rather than replace the complete mirror assembly. A strong, heat-resistant and safe repair is required—not a temporary superglue fix. Please review the attached photos and explain your proposed repair when making an offer. You must supply the necessary tools and minor repair materials. If a replacement bracket or used mirror assembly is required, please quote that separately for my approval.
