Toyota Prado 2012 – Rear Camera & Parking Sensors Not Working Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with auto electrical systems/reversing cameras to diagnose and fix an issue with my 2012 Toyota Prado diesel. The car has an aftermarket Pioneer head unit/display, which has been connected to the factory Toyota rear camera and has worked properly for around 4 years. There are currently two issues: - The rear parking/collision sensors stopped working first. There is no beeping when reversing. - At a different time, the rear camera also stopped working. - When I put the car into reverse, the Pioneer screen does not switch to the rear camera at all — it just stays on the normal screen. - The Pioneer unit itself works normally for music, Bluetooth/phone, etc. - The reverse lights are working normally. - The factory rear camera was previously working correctly with this Pioneer unit. Because the camera and sensors stopped working at different times, I’m not sure whether they are related or separate issues. I’m looking for someone who can diagnose the problem first (wiring, reverse trigger signal, fuse, camera connection, parking sensor system/module, etc.) and repair it if possible. Description: Installing an RGBIC ambient lighting kit in my 2024 Kia Cerato GT. I’ve already done the dash myself — I just need the door panels (all 4) finished. What’s needed: • Remove door cards and route/mount LED strips into the door trim • Wire each strip to a 12V + ground source inside the door (e.g. window switch backlight wire, or similar) — route through the door-to-body rubber accordion boot back to the main controller • Kit is already supplied — you just need tools and experience with door card removal/trim work Known issue — please read: Some sections of the door trim channel are too shallow for the strip diffuser to sit flush. Might be due to the trim channel design, adhesive backing thickness, or wrong mounting position. Looking for someone who’s dealt with this before and can either find a better mounting reveal or knows how to modify the channel slightly to seat it properly — not just force it in.
