Job Details: * Build a modern, low-profile letterbox approximately 1.2m long and 70cm high, along the existing limestone retaining wall. * Preferably use limestone blocks that closely match the existing retaining wall. * If matching limestone blocks cannot be found, I’m happy to use bricks and finish them with tiles to achieve a clean, modern look. * The reason for considering tiles is that it may be difficult to find limestone that matches the existing wall. * Ensure the new letterbox blends nicely with the existing retaining wall. * Include any necessary preparation, footing and installation work. * Please refer to the photos for the design I’m looking for. Budget: The quoted price must include both labour and materials, including all installation costs. Rebuild low wall to original spec with new bricks. Raked joints in black/charcoal mortar. As an example the second pic shows how the other part of the wall looks but there isn't a letterbox in the damaged wall.

I would like it to look similar to the attached reference image — a low, wide limestone letterbox wall with a built-in black letterbox and house number. Approximate dimensions: - Width: 1.2m - Height: 0.7m - Depth: approx. 300–350mm The job would include: - Preparing a suitable footing/base if required - Building the limestone wall - Installing a built-in letterbox - Limestone capping on top - Neat finishing to match the existing limestone retaining wall There is an existing limestone retaining wall next to the proposed location, and I would like the new letterbox to blend in and connect neatly with the existing wall. These bricks were originally so tight we cannot relay them. Would need the skill or a brick cutter to fit them in tight again as we aren’t able to do it

Scope of work: •Rebuild damaged sections of the existing cavity wall using owner-supplied bricks. •Tie new brickwork into existing wall as required. •Close exposed cavity and make the wall structurally sound and weatherproof. •Supply and install suitable flashing/capping/detailing at the top of the wall adjacent to the garage roof to prevent water ingress. •Make good all mortar joints and damaged areas. •Bag render/bag wash both visible faces of the repaired wall to provide a neat, uniform finish ready for painting. •Remove all rubbish and leave the site clean. While silicone can be an effective solution in some situations, unfortunately it hasn't resolved the issue in this case. We require a bricklayer to install 500-600 bricks along two side of a rectangle house slab. Total length is 12m and 9-course from the concrete footing up. We have got the bricks on site, yellow bricks 6 course high below ground level, finishing with 3 courses on top in red recycled bricks above ground level. You need to bring your own tools, mortar/mud etc. It is in Clackline 6564. We will have the steel prefab frames up in the next two weeks, so we require someone to come around after the frame is up. There is house plans available, price negotiable.

I am looking for an experienced bricklayer to construct 4 brick pillars for a new fence and gate. Pillar dimensions • 4 pillars total • Approximately 350mm x 350mm • Approximately 1.8m high • The pillars will support fence sections between them to enclose a front porch area (see photo) • One or more pillars will also be supporting a gate, so they need to be constructed appropriately for the loads involved Work required The job includes: • Carefully lifting/removing the existing paving where the pillars will be located • Preparing suitable footings/bases for the pillars • Providing and installing any required bricks, concrete, reinforcement, steel, mortar and other construction materials • Constructing all 5 pillars to approximately 1.8m high • Ensuring the pillars are properly plumb, level, aligned and suitable to support the fence and gate • Leaving the finished brickwork ready for a separate contractor to render • Cleaning up the work area I have approximately 48 red bricks (305x160x90) & 21 red bricks (305x75x90 already on site which if suitable can be used. (see photos) Contractor to supply all other materials required. A skip bin will be provided on site for construction waste.

I have had an old a/c unit removed and need the hole to be bricked up and the internal wall prepared so I can paint it. I didn’t get a picture before it was temporarily covered up but attached is a photo of outside at the moment. The wall is double layered brick with a cavity of about 2 inches.

Kitchen Renovation – Brick Cut-Out Required for Oven Tower I am currently having a kitchen renovation completed and we are looking to install an oven tower. The oven tower will include drawers underneath the oven, with a microwave space above it, as marked in the attached photo. To allow the oven tower to be installed, some brickwork will need to be cut out above and below the existing oven space. It is highly likely that a lintel will also be required to support the weight of the brickwork above. The kitchen company is able to supply and fit the oven tower, but they are unable to cut out or remove the required brickwork. We are arranging for an electrician to remove the oven, but we are looking for someone who can assist with: Cutting out/removing the required brickwork; Installing or allowing for a lintel if required; Disposing of the removed bricks/rubble; and Preparing the space for the oven tower installation. The cut-out can be no higher than 1900mm from the floor, and the width will need to match the width of the oven tower/frame. Ideally, we would like this completed as soon as possible from Thursday 6 August, as the kitchen renovation is expected to commence from Wednesday 12 August. I am based in Palmyra and would be happy for you to come and inspect the job beforehand if that helps.
