Description: I am looking for a qualified builder or structural masonry specialist to repair and stabilize severe vertical cracks in two separate walls on my property (see attached photos). The Job: Corner Wall (Retaining/Boundary wall): Has a significant separation crack at the corner. Needs heavy-duty stabilizing (likely corner brackets or deep stitching) to stop the wall from leaning/pulling away further. House Wall (near door frame): Has a long vertical crack that needs proper masonry crack stitching to bind the wall back together. Scope of Work Required: Grinding out mortar beds/slots across the cracks. Installing stainless steel helical bars (crack stitching bars) with structural grout/resin. Installing external brackets if required for the corner section. Filling the cracks and making good the render/finish (ready for paint). Requirements: Must be experienced in structural masonry repairs. Must have own tools (grinders, applicators, etc.) and supply materials (Helifix bars, grout, etc., or specify if I need to buy them). IMPORTANT: When making your offer, please briefly explain your proposed method. I am looking for a proper structural fix, not just filling the crack with silicone or cement.

Looking for brick layers for building internal walls

I need herringbone with a border (photo of style attached) brick paving laid on either side of my new deck. Labour only, I’ll supply the bricks. The areas make up about 18sqm I think. Redoing the brick paving to accommodate the newly installed gate track. Need to raise level so that car won’t impact track when it drives over it. I started the job to replace one side up to the newly installed gate track and whilst I think I did a decent job on the first side I think someone else will be able to do the other side quicker and better than me! May seek an opinion on whether first side has been done sufficiently and consider getting it redone In summary - Pull back a couple more rows of bricks on side that needs the most raising (so that there isn’t a steep ramp) - Add and spread sand (I have 2.5 bags which is hopefully enough but maybe some other base also recommended) to raise level up to above gate track (allowing for settling) and level with other side - Compact - Re-lay bricks with original pattern -Fill cracks with paving sand (I have 1.5bags) This is for labour only but if other products recommended will purchase. It is my best guess based on how long the first side took me on assumption someone with experience in paving and right equipment will be able to do it in 2-3hrs but open to negotiation on that or paying more if it turns out to be a bigger job than I’ve explained
