Hi, I'm looking two fix holes (approx 530x360mm) left in exterior brick wall after removing two old wall mounted air conditioners. I do not have any bricks and the holes are currently covered by a metal sheet. I am not sure what a reasonable budget is so I've slapped in a figure, but happy to discuss if it's way off the mark. One wall of an existing planter box has collapsed and requires reconstruction. The wall is approximately 3 metres long x 1 metre high. Scope includes: Remove collapsed bricks and loose masonry. Dispose of demolition debris. Rebuild one brick planter wall only. Render the rebuilt wall to match the existing finish as closely as possible. Clean the work area after completion. No gardening or landscaping is required. Please include labour, materials, disposal and rendering in your offer. Please also check the existing footing/base and advise if any additional repair is required before rebuilding.

Experienced bricklayer required to modify an existing approx. 3m-long brick retaining wall in Hawthorn East into a level outdoor BBQ bench. Scope: Remove existing stone/paver caps. Raise the lower LHS section by approx. 3 brick courses. Raise the middle section by approx. 1 course. Roughly 50 bricks total. Modify the RHS locally to support a BeefEater Signature 3000E built-in BBQ. Form a recessed opening beneath the BBQ for an off-the-shelf stainless LPG-cylinder cabinet. Install a suitable galvanised lintel over the cabinet opening. As the wall retains garden soil, create an independent masonry rear/side enclosure so soil does not bear against the stainless cabinet. Waterproof the soil-facing side of the new enclosure. Leave all masonry level, structurally sound and ready for stone-benchtop templating. Assist with dry-fitting the actual BBQ and cabinet before finalising dimensions. The final result will have one continuous stone benchtop across the LHS and middle, with the BBQ and LPG cabinet at the RHS. BBQ, cabinet and installation dimensions will be onsite before construction. Stone supply/installation and gas work are excluded. Please include whether bricks, mortar, lintel, waterproofing and waste removal are included;

We would like to strip back the walls in the attached images to their original brick finish. Currently cement plaster over the top. Images of walls with approximate dimensions attached.
