2018 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline 2.0 TDI AWD Looking for an experienced mechanic to complete the installation of the dogbone/pendulum support subframe bushes. Most of the preparation is already done: • Vehicle is raised and safely supported • Dogbone/pendulum support assembly has been removed • Both old subframe bushes have already been completely removed • Subframe is still fitted to the vehicle and is undamaged • New replacement bushes will be supplied I attempted installation using my own removal/installation press tool. The tool worked well for removal, but its installation guide does not positively locate into the subframe. One new bush started entering slightly off-axis and was damaged during that attempt. It has been removed completely and will not be reused. I’m looking for someone experienced with this type of VAG/Skoda subframe bush installation, ideally with the correct installation/guide tool such as VAS 6779 / VAS 6779A or equivalent. The job is to: • Correctly press the new bushes into the subframe, straight and concentrically • Refit the dogbone/pendulum support assembly and associated hardware • Reassemble everything that has been removed for this job • Tighten all disturbed fasteners to the correct manufacturer torque/specification • Advise if any single-use/stretch bolts need replacement before final assembly Everything is already accessible, so no bush removal is required. Photos of the current setup, subframe, replacement bushes and the tool I have are available if required. If you have previous VAG/Skoda subframe bush experience or the appropriate installation tooling, please mention this in your offer.
