I have a Uniden iGO CAM 45R Dual Dash Cam (2K front + Full HD rear) already installed in my 2016 Hyundai Tucson (compact SUV). The front and rear cameras have already been mounted, and the cable routing from the front unit through the roof liner to the tailgate has been completed. Currently, the dashcam is powered through the cigarette lighter socket using the supplied adapter. I would now like to have the system hard-wired for a cleaner setup and to enable parking-mode functionality. This means only the hard-wire kit installation is required — connecting to the fuse box (ACC and constant battery fuses) with an appropriate step-down converter (12 V → 5 V), and ensuring a low-voltage cutoff is set around 12.2–12.4 V to protect the vehicle battery. Please ensure the wiring uses fuse-taps / add-a-fuse connectors rather than splicing, and that the output to the camera is 5 V DC as specified by Uniden.
