The vehicle already has a 12-pin trailer socket, which I use for towing caravans and which needs to remain completely unchanged. What I need I want the new 7-pin socket wired specifically to operate a separate trailer light board, which I carry as a backup when towing caravans that have issues with their own: Indicators Brake lights Tail/running lights The setup I want is: Existing 12-pin: → Caravan → Caravan lights + electric brakes + existing functions New 7-pin: → Separate LED light board → Indicators → Brake lights → Tail/running lights The 7-pin does not need to control electric brakes, as the electric brake wiring will remain through the existing 12-pin setup.

Car: Ford Falcon FG G6E, auto Problem: the shift selector cable bushing at the gearbox end has let go (a common Falcon fault). RACQ has already attended, confirmed it's the bushing, and manually put the car into neutral. Before that the shifter was sliding through P/R/N/D doing nothing and the dash was stuck on P. Just need the bushing repaired. It's in an underground residential carpark in the Brisbane CBD city - height clearance is 2m. There's a couple of security gates so I'd need to jump in on street level and guide you down.
