My electric bike (Aventon Abound) is not working and it needs to be collected from my home and taken (via ute/truck?) to the shop where it was purchased from, located in Clayton.

I have wired a Kings Bat Block and alternantor charging kit from the front to the back of a VW Transporter. However I would like someone with electrical knowlege to help connect it to the van battery. I am a bit scared in case I do something wrong. I have all the tools and parts needed. It should only take 30mins with someone who knows what they are doing.

The power steering cuts off and the steering wheel gets locked, with the stereo/radio cutting off, and lights and the gauges would flicker and the car would fix it iself automatically as if the car was turned on again.

Hi there, I need someone to replace the alternator in a 2004 Toyota Corolla sedan, auto 1.8L and charge the battery. I have already purchased a new alternator to fit the vehicle so just a case of swaping it over and the battery will need to be charged. A roadside assist mechanic diagonised the alternator as the cause. If you're available then the please give me a quote. I had someone lined up to do it today but due to illness they cancelled. The car is currently parked outdoors on a fairly quiet back street of North Fitzroy so I am after a mobile mechanic to attend.

The battery on our Toyota Hiace van (2009) keeps draining and we once again can’t start the van. The advice we got from the RACV was that an aftermarket Nokia bluetooth phone kit had been wrongly wired (by the previous owner) to directly draw from the battery and had been drawing it when off. We cut the wire thinking this would solve the issue but it hasn’t. What we’d need is someone to: Disconnect the phone kit from the battery so that it doesn’t happen to us again Get the van jump started and assess the state of the current battery so that we know whether we need to get a new one. - Due date: Before Thursday, 17 March 2022
