I have a tool trailer with electric brakes installed. It has a rectangular 7 pin connection to my car. I don’t use daily anymore. I Noticed recently, some of my lights were out. (Old connector pin in poor condition). After swapping over everything was fixed everything excluding electric brakes. The car has a red arc brake controller. The controller doesn’t register the trailer is connected. Have tried with other trailers and it works as it should. So I’m comfortable the car side is good. It’s on a 2024 Pajero Sport. This trailer is a better trailers built trailer. The set up worked fine for years. Obviously some wiring is corroded or damaged on the brake run. (Ignore the price suggestion? I’m not sure the issue yet)
