Description: Hi, I’m looking for a patient and experienced reading tutor for my 7-year-old daughter (Year 2) to support her English reading skills. She is a lovely and motivated child, but currently: She confuses similar words (e.g. “for” and “from”) Sometimes guesses or changes words when reading (e.g. “spill” → “smill” or “spell”) Has difficulty remembering words practiced the previous day Needs support with phonics, word recognition, and reading confidence 📚 What I’m looking for: Strong focus on phonics and early reading skills Someone experienced with young children (Year 1–3 level) Patient, kind, and encouraging approach Ability to follow or complement school word lists Preferably face-to-face sessions (not online) 📍 Location: Campbelltown / North-East Adelaide area (Happy to travel a short distance if needed) ⏰ Availability: After school or weekends (flexible) 💰 Budget: Around $30–$50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) 📅 Frequency: 1–2 sessions per week (ongoing if a good fit) Please let me know your experience with children and your approach to teaching reading.
