Hi, I’m looking for an experienced ACMA licensed telecommunications / NBN technician to help diagnose an NBN connection issue in my apartment in Melbourne. Background: Apartment building I never previously used NBN in this unit I’m unsure whether the previous tenant ever had an active NBN service I recently started a Telstra NBN service a few weeks ago, but it has never worked since activation Telstra has already completed remote testing and advised: the service is fully activated/open from their end there may be a jumpering / cabling issue there appears to be an open circuit somewhere between the MDF and the apartment line Possible causes may include: incorrect MDF jumpering/patching disconnected apartment line wrong port connection damaged internal cabling open circuit between MDF and unit previous tenant cabling changes building-side telecom wiring issue What I need: proper troubleshooting and line testing continuity/open circuit testing checking MDF patching/jumpering identifying whether the issue is on: the building side MDF side apartment internal line or Telstra/NBN side advice on what repair work is required Important: I have full access to the building’s MDF room Please only respond if you have experience with: apartment NBN faults MDF jumpering telecom line tracing internal copper cabling Ideally looking for someone with proper telecom testing equipment who can accurately diagnose the fault rather than basic ISP-level troubleshooting. Troubleshoot mesh wifi in multi level house

I am looking for an IT Technician required to diagnose and troubleshoot desktop Issues for one of our home business desktops and to re-instate a permanent TeamViewer connection between a laptop and that desktop. • I am also looking to establish a long-term relationship, at an hourly rate, as close to what we are currently paying, as our IT guy is no longer working as an IT tech. • Most importantly the IT tech needs to be reliable, punctual and communicate with me if they are running late. • We expect it will take 2 hours to complete the diagnosis and troubleshooting, however if it takes longer, we will be happy to pay the extra based on the above rate and in 30 minute increments. • In the next step we have quoted $120 being 2 hours at an hourly rate of $60 (incl GST & billed in 30 min increments). • We are looking to have the job done on Frid 3rd Oct or Sat 4th Oct 2025, starting between 2pm and 3pm. • For future remote assistance we would be willing to pay $50/hr (incl GST & billed in 30 min increments). I have a Powerbook MAC that was issued to an employee who is no longer with me. I have the password. However I cannot access the computer. I would now like to use that computer, as mine is getting very old and the battery is expanding. I have all my data backed up to icloud as well as an external hard drive.

WiFi / NBN connection not working after 5 hr power outage yesterday. Have cable nbn with Aussie BB, home LAN / wifi with unifi equipment (cloudkey, switch, aps, etc). Have tried basic troubleshooting (resetting all unifi, doing aussiebb nbn diagnostics) but cannot get internet connection live on wifi. Just need someone with more tech expertise to troubleshoot.
