We have a tree on our property with some branches extending over the boundary fence into our neighbour's property. About six months ago, the neighbour pruned some of the overhanging branches, and they have now requested to prune the tree again. Before any further pruning takes place, we would like an independent assessment from a qualified arborist. I would like understand if they can do another round of the pruning, whether the tree is already unbalanced, or whether pruning the remaining overhanging branches would cause the canopy to become unbalanced or exceed the council's guidelines. We would appreciate your professional advice on whether any further pruning would remain within these guidelines and, if so, how much additional pruning could reasonably be carried out. If possible, I would like to get a written assessment or report outlining your recommendations, together with a quotation for the assessment and your earliest availability?
