Took back seats (middle row) out of older prado. I am not good with this kind of task and have constantly delayed putting them back in. I’m selling the car soon. I have all the parts and some tools etc. Located near Parramatta Westfield. Prefer not this weekend but the weekend after, or I could do a weekday with a little bit of notice. It took about an hour to take them out but I had no idea what I’m doing. Would prefer somebody who has done this before or finds this sort of thing easy.

My vehicle Toyota Kluger 2008 Model has problems with transfer case or gearbox. The engine is working well but problem with gearbox. I urgently need to repair it as well as rego it since its expired. The vehicle is parted at my house and will need to be towed where it needs to be repaired.

June 2025 Blown head gasket. I tried the head gasket sealant and it did not work. Stil there is white smoke from the exhaust. There is no milkiness in the oil and it looks fine. I did the funnel test on the radiator and noticed small amount of bubbling in the funell (~5 seconds once).

Drivers door pushed past its limit cause door to sag/drop out of alignment. Check strap was also rubbing on window when down and trying to open door, so have also busted the window. Just wanting to know if this is a simple fix someone can do for a decently cheap price or do I need to replace the door? Happy to help and supply a few cold brews on the day. Kind regards, Jeremy

Change Engine oil and filter of my car, Toyota Corolla Hatchback.

Looking for a mobile mechanic to help with a couple of tasks. It’s a bit of a lengthy explanation. I have a 2012 Toyota Corolla zre152r sedan that has never had a mechanical fault until the last 3 months. After letting a now former friend borrow my car, they drove it on a totally empty tank and they said it “ shuddered”as it ran out of fuel as they pulled up at the service station to refill. After filling up the fuel, the shuddering never stopped. It’s now rough starting, very rough idling, stalled at the lights despite being an auto.. Strong smell of fuel inside the car, misfiring cylinder, several lights on the dash have lit up/started flashing with what I suspect is something wrong in the fuel system. Partner cleaned out the fuel injectors and fuel rail. Ran injector cleaner through the car. It improved but didn’t fix it. I need someone to run’s diagnostic scanner to identify the actual issue rather than a slow process of elimination guess work. There is now damage to my drivers door at the same time. They have told me they ripped the door open so aggressively they overextended the hinge and have what I suspect is a bow in the door hinge. My drivers door no longer opens or closes properly. I need someone to inspect the door and provide advice on the most cost effective solution to fixing this, whether the hinge can be repaired/replaced or it’s the whole door. Last night my partner was using my car for a short trip and had the car window down. He tried to open the door, he says it jammed and wouldn’t open, he tried to force it open and it shattered my driver door window completely on the side of the road… so I also need someone who can inspect the door and advise the cause of the shattered window and again the most cost effective solution. At this stage I’m just looking for quotes on inspection of the above mentioned, a diagnostic scan and how much it would cost to fix all of this.
