Hi! I'm looking for a sewing professional or soft goods prototyper to help me create a one-off prototype for a luggage cover product I'm developing. Materials will be supplied (or I can reimburse), and I can provide 3D drawings and reference photos. The job involves cutting, shaping and sewing the outer cover with basic finishing (Velcro or strap). I'm based in Sydney and prefer someone local for fast feedback. We specialise in upcycling garments—transforming old uniforms, football kits, and unwanted materials into unique, bespoke items such as tote bags, shoe bags, bucket hats and more. Every piece has a story, and we need creative hands to help tell it. On top of upcycling - we also offer traditional repair services. Think hemming/shortening, button/zip replacements and mending. Estimating 20 T shirts, require a professional finish quality sewing of leather brand tag to waist hem of T shirts. Include removal of collar tag, and sew on replacement.
