Seeking wind surfing lessons for beginners. Do not have equipment

I would really like to learn how to surf by taking one-on-one lessons, as I spend a lot of time at the beach with my mates and would love to develop the skills and confidence to surf independently. I think learning to surf would be a great way to stay active, challenge myself, and make the most of the time I spend outdoors. It would also be a really useful skill for our Outdoor Education camps and something I could continue enjoying during the upcoming holidays.

Looking for an experienced kitesurfer or instructor for some private 1-to-1 coaching around Melbourne. I have my own gear and can already ride upwind. I'm mainly looking to improve my technique, transitions and start working on small jumps. I'm happy to travel to Altona, St Kilda, Rosebud or another suitable spot depending on the wind conditions. Ideally looking for someone experienced who can join me on the water and give me some tips and coaching. Flexible with dates – we can choose a day depending on the forecast.

Key Details: Objective: To become proficient in kite surfing, focusing on safety, technique, and confidence. Equipment: I currently have a kite, kiteboard and a harness, but I'm not sure if they're adequate. I'm open to a discussion about whether additional equipment is needed. Lesson Structure: Flexible in lesson format – whether it's six individual sessions or a few extended lessons, I'm open to suggestions on the most effective approach.
