Looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at a food stall for an event at Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, Sydney taking place on Sunday 8 March 2026. Assistance with be needed to help take/prep orders, assist on the BBQ, and with packing up after the event. Time required will be from 11am to approx. 7/8pm . If you have got experience working at a food stall/truck that will be great! Pay will be $25 per hour with the first hour paid through Airtasker.

Be the fun and welcoming face of the Sydney Superhot Chilli & BBQ Festival at Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park. NEed you from 11.30 to 5.30pm. You will be working alongside another staff member to: - give a smile and friendly welcome as the first point of contact for patrons - check online tickets - accept cash and EFTPOS payments, - check names of a Free Door List as needed, - check that all pets entering the festival have a bandanna or other costume - refer any patrons with bags bigger than A4 size to be checked to -the Security Officer who will be also at the gate. You'll receive the advertised fee, together with a cash bonus (which we will agree upon after you've accepted the task) in order to maximise your earnings. YOu will be treated with kindness and respect by all of our team throughout the day. You will be a great people-person, have a warm and friendly personality, cope well with stress and a busy environment and work well with other people as a team.

You will be the amazing and valued person who keeps the festival site tidy all day by: - changing bin liners and taking the full bins to the Skip - Picking up litter - Wiping down the tables after the chilli challenges - Checking the condition of the toilets throughout the day - Generally being proactive and identifying any cleaning issues - at the end of the event, help clear up any remaining rubbish (vendors are required to take their rubbish with them, but there's always the naughty ones who don't) In return you'll receive this payment, plus a cash bonus on the day (we will discuss once you accept) and also 4 free tickets for your friends and famiy. The event is the Sydney Superhot Chilli & BBQ Festival and is a family and pet-friendly event, now in its second year. Check it out on the web.
