We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic event team member to help us run a fun Bot Art workshop as part of a 3-day festival in the Penrith area. Dates & Times Friday 11 September: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm (3:00 pm start includes a 30-minute training session) Saturday 12 September: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm Sunday 13 September: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Total: approximately 19 hours Responsibilities Help manage the participant queue and organise sessions Welcome children, families and other participants Give simple instructions on how to use the robots for the Bot Art activity Help participants operate the robots and create their artwork Keep the activity running smoothly and on schedule Help keep the workshop area clean and tidy Help reset and arrange the activity between sessions Assist with other practical tasks as needed during the event No previous experience with robots is required. The robots are very easy to use. We will provide a 30-minute training session on Friday from 3:00 pm before the event starts. Requirements - Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) - Previous experience working at events, festivals, workshops or children's activities is preferred - Friendly, approachable and comfortable interacting with children and families - Reliable and punctual - Good communication skills - Comfortable working in a busy festival environment - Available for all three days and the full hours listed Payment $610 for the full 3-day event (approximately 19 hours). This is a fun, hands-on, family-friendly activity. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, responsible and comfortable working with children and families.
