Replacing 2 units of hard-wired smoke alarms (1995) with the latest models that meets the 2026 standards. Preferrably smoke and carbon monoxide detection.

I need to do a short cable run from a switch to a lamp so it would have power even when the switch is off, as it is battery powered emergency light. I also need a smoke alarm replaced, it is all on a short 2.5m cable run through an exposed plastic conduit.
