Scope: * Inspect the property and determine the alarm locations required under the NSW Short-Term Rental Accommodation Fire Safety Standard. * Supply and install interconnected smoke alarms in every bedroom and the bedroom hallway/corridor. * Alarms must comply with AS 3786:2014. * Alarms must use sealed, non-removable lithium batteries with a minimum 10-year life expectancy, unless the technician recommends compliant mains-powered alarms. * All alarms must be interconnected so activation of one sounds every alarm. * Position and install all alarms correctly on or near the ceiling. * Test every alarm and demonstrate that the interconnection works. * Label or record each alarm’s installation/manufacture date. * Remove and dispose of any superseded alarms. * Provide an written installation/compliance report stating the alarm models, quantities, locations, applicable standard, power source, interconnection method and successful test results. Please confirm your qualifications, relevant licence or accreditation, proposed alarm make/model and whether all alarms, installation and written documentation are included in your offer. The property will operate as NSW short-term rental accommodation. Please identify any other smoke or heat-alarm work needed to comply with the applicable STRA Fire Safety Standard. Replacement of the two new smoke alarm unit. We have purchased from Bunnings x2 FirePro Connect 10 Year Lithium Wireless Interconnect Smoke Alarm. Exiting smoke alarms are over 12 years old.
