Hi, We need a licensed electrician for add power points in one room. ​Need to expand 1 existing power point into 3 double power points. ​Ideally, I'd like them distributed across the room (e.g., one on the left wall, one on the right wall). ​Surface-mounted wiring / conduits are perfectly fine. ​​Please provide a Certificate of Testing and Compliance upon completion. ​Please supply pvc conduits for powerpoint wires and power point plates. ​Let us know your availability and quote. 1. Relocate Smoke Alarm: Relocate 1 x existing 240V hardwired interconnected smoke alarm by approx. 0.6m along the plaster ceiling (to allow clearance for a light fitting). 2. Install 1 x Outdoor Double Powerpoint: - Supply and install a standard weatherproof outdoor double powerpoint (IP54 or similar, see attached photo). - Location: Mount it on a nearby vertical timber deck skirting board (about 1.2m above ground level, no ladder needed). - Cable Run: Run new cable under the deck from the existing junction box (see photo) to the powerpoint (approx. 2 metres distance, using protective conduit/pipe). - Access: Requires crawling/getting under the deck to run the wire(about 1m high). - Power Feed: The existing junction box is ready under the house on a safety switch. (The whole house was rewired around 2021, and this circuit feeds from an existing upstairs powerpoint) Requirements: - Must be a licensed QLD Electrical Contractor. - Provide an invoice with contractor licence number and testing/compliance statement. - Work to commence after 9:00 AM on working days.

The building already has fire svcs inspections 4 x per year. This is a formality to sell. You must be registered. Ladder not necessary. 10-15 min job

I have two existing hard wired smoke alarms which need replacing, and 4 new wireless smoke alarms to install. All alarms are provided and come interconnected. I understand a qualified electrician is required to install the hard wired alarms.

Qualified electrician to install 3 wireless smoke alarms one in each bedroom no wiring required. Install one wireless base to replace an existing base in hallway this requires connecting existing wires only. All parts are already procured, just a simple refit of a base with electrical wires and add 3 new alarms that don't require any wiring to be attached, job shouldn't take more than one hour.

I own a small 2 bedroom apartment. I do not have professionally installed smoke alarms but have the generic battery operated smoke alarms you get from Bunnings. They constantly, go off during the night for no reason. I want to be protected as much as possible from the effects of fire, should it occur.

I have three general jobs: 1) I have 7x smoke alarms that need to be installed in the ceiling. (There are lithium ion battery operated and do not need wire connections). The alarms can mostly be installed in-place of the old, wired alarms - please disconnect and remove the old installation plates in the ceiling. I'm not sure if patching is required. Please supply your own screws and wall mates as the screws supplied with the smoke alarms don't seem to be the right size. 2) There are 5 doors in the house which are not closing/latching properly. 4 of the doors are closing but just not latching easily. 1 of the door is not closing, the door grinds into the frame in one corner and gets stuck. 3)I have a heavy internal wooden sliding door which has a stopper in the runner above, but the stopper keeps coming close and the door keeps sliding out of position. Just need a solution to keep the stopper in place, maybe an extra screen through the runner.
