Looking for someone to safeguard this sliding gate with maybe an hard plastic cover etc while still allowing it to open and close. Our dog keeps getting underneath it and cutting herself on the jagged edges.

My driveway entry gate is not functioning properly and needs attention/service. It’s an automatic sliding gate powered by a Tau K100M motor. See photos. The gate will not open without manual effort as the cog on the motor will not grip on the gate frame (to pull and slide it open). It closes no problem. I have a video that shows this clearly. I’ve examined the parts and there doesn’t appear to be any wear and tear causing this.

The sliding gate comes off the position easily, due to minimum contact between the roller guide & the gate, as shown in the photo.
