I’m wanting an experienced dressmaker or tailor to alter/re-style the top of a dress I already have for a formal event. Wanting to change the high neckline to a plunge.

We are looking for a highly skilled, versatile Seamstress / Tailor with Pattern Making capabilities to join our studio team. This isn't your average alterations gig—we are looking for a technical partner to help us bring experimental concepts to life. If you love the challenge of "how do we make this work?" and have the technical foundation to back it up, this role is for you. The Creative Scope: Technical Construction: High-level sewing and garment construction for production-ready pieces. Pattern Making: Drafting, grading, and manipulating patterns from sketches or draped concepts. Experimental Development: Collaborating on "first-run" samples and troubleshooting construction issues for non-traditional designs. Fit & Finish: Performing precision tailoring and ensuring every garment meets our high-spec aesthetic. Growth & Opportunity: This is a fluid, experimental role. You won't just be executing someone else's vision; you’ll be an integral part of the design-to-production pipeline. For the right person, this role has the potential to evolve into Lead Technical Designer or Head of Production. Requirements: Advanced Technical Skills: Must be proficient with industrial machines (overlockers, straight stitch, etc.) and various fabric types. Pattern Mastery: Ability to create accurate patterns from scratch and adjust existing ones. Creative Problem Solver: You enjoy "hacking" a design to make it more functional or visually striking. Portfolio/Samples: You must be able to demonstrate previous garment construction or pattern work.

WILLING TO DROP OFF AND PICK UP FROM ANYWHERE IN SYDNEY AND OUTER SYDNEY - purchased velvet mini dress - purchased petticoat - need to sew petticoat to hem of mini dress to turn into floor length dress - need to sew a layer of fabric (Dupion or Mikado) over petticoat - blind hem finish

I recently got a large bed (super king) and accompanying that, some large bedsheets but because of some issues, I had to return the large bed and get a smaller bed (single). But unfortunately I was not allowed to return the bed sheets. I now have 4 super king bedsheets that are too large for my single bed and was hoping I can reuse it as either a smaller bed sheet or pillow + bolster cases because the material is actually comfortable and would be a waste not to be able to use it. I have no experience sewing so would love to get some help with that..? I can bring over the sheets and pick them up when done (if not too far) otherwise can ship it but might reduce how much I can pay Please ask for details and will send over pictures personally

Hello I have two Waterproof Covers - for out door furniture, that need to be brought up. Currently @ 32". the height needs to be 28".... 1 seater Chair & a 2 seater Will need to be have webbing and buckle / clips sew onto each 4 courners (will be supplied). You can bring your machine to my place - to do the alteration (preferably)..... or I can bring to you within 10km of Waterloo. The waterpoof covers is 420D in thickness.
