Hello! I am looking for someone to design/ costume create on my behalf. I have constructed a look but I don’t have seeing abilities. I am trying to create a ‘Jungle Lady dress / warrior/ accustomed to the jungle’ - similar to Katy Perry’s dress in roar but with more layers. I have sourced fabric and materials for you to use. There is a crown moment but unsure. Happy to chat in person about the vision. My hot glue gun let me down and I’m asking for your help! I am happy to meet face to face at a cafe or come to you.

The task at hand is to save my favourite office chair. This chair RRP quite high it’s a German brand so I want to keep enjoying it. If it’s not repaired correctly someone who understands the sort of flexible stitching used for the back rest. You can notice in photos one side that got bad, the other side starting to spread. Sew 6 aprons with provided fabric

Hello! I’m looking for a keen home sewing person. I’ve been very sick lately & I’ve bought matching cozy fluffy bathrooms for my mum & two sisters as a thank you for helping me out while I am sick/tired etc. I’d like someone who can sew / embroider to be able to sew our family nicknames onto the back of each of the X 4 robes. I think sewing on a braided dark pink ribbon in the shape of each short nickname would be easiest & perfect and look very special & cute… open to ideas. AND Aside from this, I’ve bought x 5 sets of cheap Ikea curtains for my vintage caravan that I need hemmed to caravan window length, so I can lease the van out for some income. I will get the measurements. I’ve got the robes & curtains with me in East Melbourne. If you could pick up / drop off when done that would be amazing as I am not very mobile at the moment.. However, I DO have my old car with me and I could drop off to you at some point when I am not sick - as long as not too far & not in a busy traffic period. I am new to Melbourne & not very confident driving in the hectic traffic…🙈 I’ve made what I hope is a reasonable offer for your time on this - but please make a different offer if you think necessary & I will consider. I don’t have a lot of cash left just at the moment (not working for several months as sick), but I do want to be fair & reasonable about the payment - and it is very important to me that this present is special & beautiful for my family, and also that my beloved old vintage caravan is functional, and so I can lease it for some income while I am not well. I have included approx $25 in this offer for the braid to be sewn on & matching thread for that & the green curtains. I have also included $20 for pick up & drop off to East Melbourne. Thank you.

I have 3 45x45 cushion covers that need to be made out of boucle fabric that I have.

I have four items that need minor mending! 1) A skirt which needs a new fastner sewed into it (I have bought the fastner) 2) A top with a side seam that has unravelled 3) 2x merino wool turtlenecks that each have 3x small moth holes that need repairing.

Hi, I’ve been gifted my great grandmothers singer sewing machine from the 60-70s . My mother knows how to sew but we love to far away from each other, I need someone to help me in person. I’m a fast learner and patient. I need to learn more about the machine, and other basics. I’ve done sewing back in high school so I know a little. Price is low, as I’m uni student but I’m happy to negotiate

Starting with a 3 hour session, with the potential for ongoing work. Ideally, you will: - be friendly and patient and a clear teacher with actionable advice - be able to bring your own sewing machine. I have one, but its very old, and I'd prefer if we could work simultaneously.* - have experience making dance costumes and gowns - understand fabrics and have experience sewing with challenging materials - be able to give advice on choosing fabrics - understand how to adjust and create garments for mid-size, curvy, petite women. - be happy to work in a house with a cat. The budget I am setting includes $50 per hour for 3 hours, plus $25 for bringing a sewing machine and any basic equipment. If you are not able to bring these tools, please reflect that in your offer. *Note: I have needles, thread, scissors, bobbins, measuring tape, some patterns and practice fabrics and some other basics, but no chalk.
