Demolish amd rebuild a new retaining wall and fence. Ideally concrete sleepers and colorbond fence. Backfilling might be needed at the back of new retaining wall.

Starting my outside renovation project but current wood retaining wall is rotten. Not sure if it would be better to tear existing one down along with fence or keep it how it is and building in front so it will eat into my land. My outside will be quite expensive so which ever is more cost effective would be better. The wall is 25-30m in length and I’m not too sure what height it would need to be, but I’m guessing 700mm. I want a retaining wall that will lasts so I’m not interested in wood and I’ve also heard that concrete sleepers rust and crack after 14 years, I’m leaning more towards besser block walls (or similar) Although I’m open to concrete walls too. I’m looking to get this wall started in the next 2-4 weeks. I also would not like to waste anyone’s time here, so a ballpark figure on the cost of labour would be great before you come out to the property to inspect. Retaining Wall: I need someone to construct a retaining wall for me, which consists of three sections. Approximate measurements for each section are provided in the attached figure. Concrete Floor: I would like to have a concrete floor done as well.
