You will need to get up into the roof cavity, unplug the old power unit from the power point, and route the cable for the new power brick down to the projector. ​ You must bring a tall step ladder to safely reach and access the ceiling hatch. ​

Looking for an experienced AV installer or electrician to install a ceiling mount tray in a single-level residential home in Berwick. Install the ceiling mount tray (available with me) for the projector, should also Conceal cables and route hdmi cables inside the plaster wall cavity for a clean finish. I have got the celing mount tray, projector and hdmi cable for this.

I have a small generic Android smart projector bought from Temu. It has electronic focus only (no focus ring) and uses IR to control it. I accidentally triggered the focus mode (a grey circle appeared in the centre of the screen) and now the image is stuck very blurry. The projector still turns on and otherwise works, but I can’t adjust the focus back using the wireless keyboard controller. I’ve lost the original IR remote that came with it. I need someone local who has compatible projector remotes or a universal projector remote / phone with IR blaster and remote apps and can come over to get the focus back to a usable setting. I’m on a disability pension, so I’ve set the task price at $35, which is my limit for this job. It should be a quick job for someone local that likes tinkering with gadgets.

Need to relocate projector from our home in Templestowe Lower to new home in Kew. Following needs to be done - 1. Projector needs to be taken off and the power cables etc. 2. The task is to fix a large projector screen to the ceiling. It’s a large 2m screen 5kg in weight. A joist scan would be required to find an appropriate fixing point. The screen has set location for the hooks. Secure screws with plugs would be required, the ones provided may not be adequate. See the photo attached.
