Need help to install a Chandelier light on the plasterboard ceiling. The light weight is 25kg with the cristals. However, the light fitting can be fitted without the cristal and after installation the cristals can be added. It will reduce weight during installation. You need to first remove the existing light fitting (500gm weight) which is currently fitted on the plasterboard ceiling and replace with the new Chandelier light fitting into the same place. You may need to install a new timber to hold the 25kg light. The ceiling can be accessible through the roof (tile roof) to install the new timber. This is a townhouse. To access the roof, the way would be to lift roof tiles, there isn't an access hatch or ceiling access. Note: all the installing accessories including the new timber need to be provided by you. I recently had 2 pendant lights removed from my ceiling and i require the holes in gyprock to be fixed and painted, I have the ceiling paint. Ceiling height is 2.4m.

I will supply the paint and insulation you just need to supply a piece of gyprock and material for patching etc. Would like it all patched and repaired to blend with existing wall .
