Seeking a plasterer to remove a bathroom ceiling duct vent (which has fairly strong spring clips keeping it in place), and to repair plaster with appropriate materials for a wet area in preparation for painting and caulking. Painting and caulking not a requirement of this task. The plaster requiring repairs is at the edges of the ceiling (mainly superficial damage where a layer was torn during the demolition). If the plaster around the duct is damaged during removal that will also need to be repaired.

We have just moved in to our home and have a sagging ceiling that stretches from one corner of an upstairs bedroom to the other (approx 5m). There is unique cornicing that we would like to preserve but no painting is required. 1980s build. We’ve had a couple quotes but no availability before the new year.

We have some water damage to a bedroom ceiling in need of repair. We will have the area fully scraped back and ready for plastering, and will then paint it ourselves. Only the plasterwork/sanding is required to get the ceiling ready to paint. The total area would be no more than 2sqm.

1) A yellowish watermark has appeared on the ceiling and needs to be painted over please. Size is approximately 30cmx30cm. 2) Small crack in plaster near ceiling cornice needs to be filled in and patched up paint. Also has watermark along crack which needs to be covered. Crack is approximately 1mm wide and 50cm long. I don’t need the entire ceiling painted just the two bits above patched up and looking good for house inspections. There is 1 main and 3 minor jobs that require fixing. The main job is repairing the whole cut out of a wall where there was a minor water leakage. the minor jobs requires fixing the plaster where it has been compressed due to a door pushing against it, fixing where a wall cable cover has torn against the plaster and fixing a patch job in the ceiling.

Plaster replacement is in a few areas of the house as per photos. Walls with wallpaper removal and plaster repairs need to be preped for painting.
