I am in need of someone to take care of my pups for a few months until I can settle into a place of my own. About the pups: My oldest boy is Floyd (8 years old) Kelpie x He’s a quiet but cuddly old boy who loves cuddles and kisses. He loves to go to the park and run around with the other dogs but you may find that he rounds the dogs up like sheep and brings them your way but he can handle himself well. Not great on the recall outside of the home so won’t be letting him go on off leash walks or in too big of a dog park that you can’t refocus his attention back on you. My youngest girl is Zelda (7 years old) Rottweiler, who is the attention seeking little princess constantly overtaking her brother for any attention! She is great with her recall and training but will definitely get sidetracked if she’s excited about more people giving her attention or someone’s about to throw her ball! Both pups are up to date with their C-5 Vaccinations and have recently gotten their monthly dose of worming tablets. About you: You are ideally a sensitive and patient person who loves big dogs and can cater to having them inside the house most of the time. You are trustworthy, reliable and have access to a vehicle in case of an emergency. I would also love to receive photo/video updates on how they are going too 😊 Additional info: They love walks as much as they like lounging around inside. As long as they get at least a 30-40min walk 4 times a week mixed with some indoor/backyard play and dog park once or twice, they will be happy. They are indoor dogs and are well trained, they will do their business outside on command (which I will teach you) and they eat one heavy meal once each night. I will provide their beds and toys etc and transfer money each week for their food expenses. You don’t need to be in the house with them all day because they do entertain each other but as long as they get to spend some one-on-one play time and whatever other activity you can fit in each day they will be very happy pups!
