Looking for an experienced paver/handyman to repair a small section of outdoor bluestone pavers that have sunk and shifted along the edge of our deck (approx. 1.2m x 40cm strip). As per photos, several tiles have dropped slightly and the grout joints have opened up. Scope of works: • Carefully lift affected pavers • Remove failed base material • Re-level and compact new base • Re-lay pavers flush with surrounding area • Re-grout joints neatly • Ensure proper fall toward drain Area includes a drain edge and deck boundary, so attention to level and finish is important. Please bring your own tools and include materials (base + grout) in your quote unless discussed otherwise. Budget: $350-450 all inclusive (This is a small job but needs to be done properly so it doesn’t sink again.) Looking for an experienced handyman or concreter to help with two tasks: 1. Resurface Pathway • Area: approx. 18m x 1m. • Existing base: hard cement (see photo). • Prep: remove current pavers and pebbles. • Some pebbles can go into garden bed; rest needs disposal. • Apply a thin, even layer of concrete for a clean finish. 2. Minor Paving Repairs • Fill underneath where erosion has occurred. • Re-grout loose pavers (see second photo). You’ll need: • Tools for concrete resurfacing and paving repair. • Ability to dispose of excess pebbles and old materials. We are looking to lift 12 concrete pavers (could easily be lifted by one person) and level the slight step in the land to get a smoother gradient. We will then need the pavers replaced. This should be a relatively straight forward job and could be done by one person. It just requires shoveling some land back and refilling some of the gaps to get it level. We can provide a shovel if required. Please provide experience or reference in similar jobs. Complete laying Limestone pavers (20mm thickness), grout and seal. Cement, pavers and sand, rubber hammer, string and spirit level all on site. Grout and seal to be supplied please. Wet saw or bricksaw will also be required. Work started as a DIY project but took longer than expected and we’ve run out of time. We need someone to pave a small front yard area, screeding over the top of the existing brick pattern with modern large pavers which we will supply. Location is Bronte. Measurements at the widest points are 2650 x 4600mm. Rounded step to be squared off. Budget is labour only, all material costs can be added. Photos below. Repaving of side path which was lifted up to put new drain pipe in. Approx 90cm wide x 15 metres long We have all the pavers.
