I have a 2013 VW Tiguan. Original factory radio failed and then swapped out for an apple carplay Kenwood unit. While radio etc still functions, the reverse camera will not function. Would prefer to start again with better quality apple carplay radio/nav unit and integrated new reverse camera unit. Camera can be mounted behind number plate or nearby - happy to disconnect Tiguan camera and leave in place.
