We changed the back door of my 2002 Nissan Elgrand E51 and the wiring wasn’t the same. Re-wired and smelt a mild electrical burning smell and now the van won’t start- imobilizer isn’t switching off. Someone suggested it might be the BCM. We want to check all the wiring in the back to find where the burnt electrical smell came from and get my van back on the road asap.
