Looking for an experienced mobile motorcycle mechanic to diagnose and repair my 2017 Suzuki DR650 at my home in Buderim. After a solid day of riding yesterday, towards the end of the day the bike initially idled normally but bogged down and stalled when opening the throttle. It subsequently stopped starting altogether. What’s been checked: • RACQ attended and suspected a carburettor issue. • The bike recently ran out of fuel. Possible sediment affecting the carburettor’s float/needle valve or blocking fuel passages was suggested, but this hasn’t been confirmed. • The 25-litre Acerbis tank has since been filled, which didn’t resolve the issue. • The battery is now flat from repeated starting attempts. It was turning the engine over before becoming depleted. • The idle-speed adjuster was moved during troubleshooting and may need resetting. I need someone to check fuel delivery, inspect and clean the carburettor as required, check the breather filter, and recharge/test the battery. Motorcycle carburettor experience is essential. Experience with Suzuki DR650s is a bonus. Please bring suitable tools and battery charging or jump-start equipment. Hi, I got my honda cbr 650f 2017 diagnosed for engine related issue and found out that the cam chain guard split in two and failed, allowing the chain to dislocate and rub against the interior engine casing wall.
