Ford Focus 2015 Hatchback – Transmission Overheating & stop safely for 5 mins.” Description: Hi, I’m looking for a mechanic or someone experienced with Ford Focus cars to check an issue with my 2015 Ford Focus hatchback (automatic). The problem: after stopping at red lights or idling for a while, the car doesn’t respond to the accelerator immediately. I have to press the pedal longer before it starts moving, and it feels weaker than before. Recently, the dashboard also showed a message saying “Transmission overheating – stop safely for 5 mins.” Once the car cools down, it drives normally again, but the acceleration delay and power loss keep happening. I’d like someone to inspect and diagnose what’s causing this — possibly a transmission (Powershift) issue, throttle body, or sensor problem. Located in [Indooroopilly . Flexible with time.
