Hey! Looking for a motorbike mechanic (or experienced rider) to come and clean the carburetor on my 2023 Kawasaki KLX450R – it’s running but the idle is rough and it stalls sometimes. Just needs a proper carby clean, nothing crazy. It has a Keihin FCR-MX40 carb, so ideally you’ve worked on those before. I don’t have tools or products, so you’d need to bring what’s needed (spray, sockets, etc.). Flexible on time, can be done at my place in Cairns. Let me know your availability and price 👍

I am located in Cairns and need a mechanic. I have a 2008 Toyota Hiace Commuter, manual, petrol. I was driving and rev'd the car too hard in 3rd gear and both 3rd and 4th gear broke and now do not work. They lock into place on the gear stick but it is basically like revving the engine in neutral. I only have 1st, 2nd , 5th and reverse working. I am trying to fix this as cheap as possible I would love some advice or mechanics that people recommend or if anyone has a cheap second hand gear box I could buy off them. Please leave a comment and I will contact you. Any help is appreciated as this will break the bank :)
